Organic farming in England/Scotland/Ireland?
Do you know of any good research papers on Organic Farming?
I am in a class for Environmental Economics and I have to write a term paper on Organic Farming. I would like to do a benefit-cost analysis between conventional farming and organic farming. And would like to answer the following question: Is organic farming better? I know that organic farming produces less so I’m not completely sure if it is better for the environment. I am looking for facts on the costs of the two different farming methods, etc..Please only serious answers.

Organic farming on college campus to cut costs?
So, I’m writing a research proposal for English.
We’re supposed to go along the lines of finding ways to promote environmentally friendly living our college campus.
My idea is that our college should devote some of the land (where they’re bulldozing eight dorms) to grow houses and farm land. Organic farming could help promote healthier living, If they develop a class to teach the students about hands-on organic farming, then the university could utilize what is grown for their own use. Not only would students be educated about organic foods and farming, but the university could use these foods and hopefully promote the local economy by buying from our area.
Does this sound decent? Any tips? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does a fruit or Veggie from a GMO seed but grown in accordance to Organic farming count as organic produce?
Anyone interested in starting up a organic farming & artist and intellectual community? Or knows of one?
I’m tired of living in the “big” city and being around persons whom simply are inane and criminal. I would like to be able to build a or join a community with morals, artsy types, whom are interested in organic farming and raise livestock (humanely) and are interested in things besides who’s on Jerry today? I am an intellect and artist, singer, writer and healer and long to find others whom have the same interests and are in search of knowledge and are not nuts or cult types.
Persons such as “Doug” I do not wish to hear from… thank you…
Benjamin
