    because no chemical means are used on the farm land, the vegetables or the live stock it is more expensive for the farmer and this added expense is passed to the comsumer/buyer.
    The organic goods are more expensive for the public to buy but the loss of chemicals in our diets is producing healthier humans and their offspring.

    Not using any chemicals or hormones to alter your crop/livestock. Is it better, yes because it is healthier for the human not to ingest all the extra chemicals and hormones with their food.
