What are the effects of Organic Farming on the environment? (i heard it takes up more land, so more destruction of forests is required)
Is organic food healthier? (i heard its genetically the same as other foods, and some say it has more nutrition while other studies say it doesnt)
(would be nice if you could source it)
Thanks for your help!

Organic Food?
John asked:
Ok so I know organic fruit and vegetables means no pesticides and all natural fertilizer. But if you have a compost pile where you create fertilizer can you throw un-organic waste in there (stuff from the store) and still call the crops organic. Second if you raise chickens or some form of livestock and you use all organic food, etc… is that all you have to do to consider it organic or would actually have to buy an “organic” chick or calf or whatever the animal is, in order for it to be organic. Thanks

Is organic food good for gaining weight?

I’m on the football team, and I heard organic food is good for gaining muscle. I’m 5′4 and 133lb all muscle, and I’m trying to gain some more muscle hopefully to 140+. Would organic food make me lose weight faster than gaining it?

Organic food?
octopusinagarden asked:
Let me start off by saying that I find non-organic food to be repulsive. It conatins heavy amount of pesticides and bacteria and can cause sserious health problems. I;m not legal yet, and am not old enough to get a job where I live, and my parents can’t really afford organic food. They try to buy it when they can but that doesn’t happen often. I’d like to buy my own food with the money that I have, but I know that everyone in the house will end up eating it all before I get a chance to take a piece. Really what should I do I can’t take it any more, and I still ahvent found any cheapish organic food stores inmy area.
Yeah, I know of Trader Joe’s they don’t have one in my state :[

Organic Food?
kystik83 asked:
I have been thinking of ways I can improve my over all health. I have been thinking about switching to organic food. There is a huge difference between the price of organic foods and non organic foods. My question is is it worth it? Have no noticed a difference in your health after eating organic foods? Thanks for sharing.
