I am in the Seattle, WA area and am looking for an Organic farm that delivers or an Organic CSA that has a drop spot near my home. I have used Helsing Junction Farm in the past; however, they only offer 18 weeks of produce during the growing season and I am looking for a year round solution. Any recommendations or referrals are appreciated.

E asked:
For example, if I had about 3 acres of land on which to farm, how much organic produce would I be able to grow? A link would be helpful if you have one. My internet searches were unsuccessful.

Shouldn’t it be cheaper since less fertilizers, chemicals, additives, and hormones go into making it. Or is it more costly because there are far less producers of it?
O ya duh that makes sense. And yes I agree it’s worth it.

define organic farming in your own words. Is it a better method of growing food than conventional farming? consider cost and practicality in your answer.

I’m looking for an organic way to keep away the occasional rabbit, woodchuck and squirrel that venture through my fenced in yard to have themselves a midnight snack in my vegetable and flower gardens. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cremona Ian asked: do you have and links to websites?
This is a go link http://www.verdant.net/food.htm#whyorganic
but they say “Avoid the area next to buildings or fences because of possible contamination of the soil by paint, heavy metals or chemicals.”
